Hello! Welcome to my website.

My name is Alefe Souza, a Brazilian who always dreamed to travel around the world since the first time I opened a Geographic Atlas during my teenage, "Viajar com Alê" means "Travel with Alefe" (Alê can be a shortname for Alefe in Portuguese language), you may also see me with a "@ASExplore" (Alefe Souza Explore) handle, this handle is more friendly to non Portuguese speakers and just links to my travel social networks.

I always liked to take photos of the places I go since I was 14, uploading pictures to Panoramio, today Google Maps contributions page.

I started Viajar com Alê in August 20th, 2023 after going to a travel influencers event in Brazil and felt inspired to start my own travel account, as my personal accounts never got so much attention and I didn't post every detail of my trips on it to not "flood" my friends timeline, so with this new account I could post as much posts I want without the limitation of sharing just the best photos on stories.

Sometime in my life I wanted to be a photographer but I found myself in programming, this website was entire developed by me from scratch, it started as a link hub to all my social networks (just the home page), but I noticed I could use it to study new web technologies and as a hub to all my social media content, including all my travel related stories because let's my honest, almost nobody clicks travel related Instagram highlights and watch it to the end, with my own website I could create a page which shows every highlight stories in a single page without clicking the screen to watch every content and also take advantage of Web Stories to show the same page in a stories format without needing to login, taking advantage of faster load times and being indexed by search engines to get discovered by new people outside social networks.

Could also use it to create a hashtags system, like #favorites, #food and #observationdeck hashtags, which shows only my content related to these subject, also working with Web Stories, being indexed and even sync with Pinterest, also I really like tech gadgets, there are some photos and videos taken with 360 camera (#360photo, #360video, #bullettime) and drones (#drone) too.
